The Message:

The message of hope is never heard quite so clearly and beautifully as at Christmas. This is truly "A Time For Hope"...the title of this album, at the theme it is designed to convey. The musicians who have come together in the creation of this Christmas collection, have combined their gifts to make that message come alive. It is an expression of hope and a celebration of the joy of more than just a season. Each song is the embodiment of the sentiments felt by a world of caring hearts. Just as love and grace gave birth to a plan that saved the world, A Time For Hope is the culmination of the same, with the purpose of bringing a blessing to the world. Additionally, this project was inspired by a deep desire to carry that message of hope to those most in need, in a tangible way. For each purchase made, a portion of the proceeds will go toward helping the children whose hardship experience has been most profound. And it is in the spirit of Christ that this amazing work was undertaken. From O Come O Come Emmanuel to O Come Let Us Adore Him, an atmosphere of worship can be felt. Sweet Little Jesus Boy and Away in a Manger bring the gentleness and warmth of God's love to the heart. And Born to Save the Day sums up the entire purpose for choice God made to clothe divinity in humanity and dwell among us. You will also hear traditional Christmas pieces in not so traditional form. The project is a compilation of jazz, Neo-classical, R&B, and gospel demonstrating the versatility of the artists and the breadth of God's incredible gift of creativity! Each of the magnificent performers who are part of this literal masterpiece is a star in his or her own right. And, yes, it is indeed a masterpiece because every piece is dedicated to the Master. 

The Artists:

Each of the artists on this project brings his unbridled style and skill. Joey Kibble of the Grammy Award winning Take 6, opera star Angela Brown, Stellar Award winning Best New Artists Terrell Hunt, gospel powerhouse Benita Washington, Maurice Griffin, balladeer Wendy Moten, and an assortment of other superb artists have made this album a work of art. Though distinctly different in presentation, perfection is the cohesiveness and Christ is at the center of this musical celebration. 

The Producer:

Roger A. Ryan is known throughout the music industry for his involvement with numerous other widely successful musicians, including the late Whitney Houston, as well as CeCe Winans, Yolanda Adams, and Kirk Franklin. He is the founder and CEO of AfterTouch Music, with a premier recording studio in Nashville, TN. Roger has introduced many formerly unknown singers and musicians to the industry, guiding them toward success and fame. An accomplished pianist, Roger's work can be heard on various gospel and jazz recordings. His career also includes years as Music Director for popular recording artists, and he spent years touring in that capacity. While a phenomenal artist in his own right, Roger points to his opportunities to help launch the careers of others and simply bring beautiful music to the world as his greatest accomplishments. 

The Music:

In a word, "beautiful" is the take away from listening to this album. Hope infused, the beauty of each song will leave a lasting impression on the heart, and a lingering note of joy in the ear.
